Christmas Eve

On Christmas eve our family opens one present. I got christmas earings... with cute penguins on them!!!

ATTENTION ALL CLUBPENGUIN FANS:

Wanna know the best way to get coins? Well, first you need to buy a pink puffle and go Aqua Grabbering.

Clam Waters:

-there are many baby clams that hold pearls. Wait until one falls asleep and steal the pearl. Do the rest to all of these. (You will have 150 coins now if you have done it right)

-Go all the way down and you will see a small opening going down, go there and go right.

-You will see a rock. Pick up the rock and go left avoiding the fish.

-A giant clam is sleeping with a pearl in her mouth. DO NOT try and get the pearl. You must first place the rock on the clam's tongue, and now you can take the pearl.

-Go to the middle and then up. Now you will have seen Mullet, the big fish. Wait until he moves and then put the pearl in the net. (If you have done this correctly without losing a sub you will have 450 coins)

Clam Waters Time Trial:
This one is hard.

-Wow! you don't have alot of time to finish. By all means skip the baby clams and go straight for the Giant Pearl.

-When you reach Mullet, don't think you are in such a hurry. Wait for him to move, and that way you don't have a chance of dropping the pearl and having to go all the way down again. (If you have done this correctly without losing a sub, you should have 750 coins by now)

Clam Waters Air Compresed Mode:
Now THIS one is the hardest (of Clam Waters)

-Weeee! You are going so fast that you are so tempted to bump into something. BAD IDEA. You bump into one thing and you lose a sub immediately.

-This one you don't need my help for. Just DON'T BUMP INTO ANYTHING. (You should have 1200 coins now if you have finished successfully)

P.S the reason I told you to buy a pink puffle is because she goes Aqua Grabbing with you. if you need air really bad and it isn't available anywhere,the puffle gives you air. It's much easier.

Christmas Party

The Christmas party that we had on Friday was awesome! Only about half the people came... but it was still fun. We played a game where, in teams of two, you had to eat 6 small hershey candies of the ground without using your hands... and whoever finished first wins. It was fun! Other than that... we just hung out and talked. Poor guys though... there were only two of them.

My feet hurt.

The dance yesterday was AWESOME!!! But it wasn't as good as the others. There was one new REALLY popular song, but not American Boy or I Kissed a Girl. When a good song comes on, Girl scream soooo loud!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! My ears hurt. I screamed too, though. :)

After the dance I had a sleepover with Monica. I had fun Monica! I call the queen ducky next!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I had a ton of fun trick or treating. First I started trick or treating with a girl on my street. Then we went down Cameron Road and picked up another girl. Their names are Gabe and Eva. This year I was a demon for Halloween, but everyone thought I was a devil. Gabe was Mary En Twinette (I have NO idea on how to spell that you will have to sound it out) and Eva was a ballerina. They looked pretty and I looked pretty scary. I even scared Megan :)

I won't be checking my e-mail for a while because it's not letting me sign in.

It's my friend's, Monica, birthday today. Happy Birthday Monica!

Don't know what part i got....

Today at lunch I looked at the list of all the people who auditioned in the play. There were about 60-140 people auditioning for the play, but only about half of those people actually got a part in the play. So I looked at the list, and I saw my name! I didn't get a big part, but it's better than nothing! Awesome!

A while ago there was another school dance. Last dance I had a lot of fun, but this one was SO much better! I danced with a new friend, Monica, and some other grls. Before the dances I felt REALLY awkward dancing, but now I dance when no one is looking :) (so don't spy on me)

I hope I get the Part!

Tomorrow I am auditioning for the school play. It's the musical, "Suessical". I hope I get the part as the kangaroo in "Horton Hears a Who"!

Laos Video

Today I went to the wrong class!

Go Nationals!

Yesterday Dad and I went to the Nationals baseball game. It was so cool! I ate a pizza and had soda and a huge soft pretzel... but the Nationals lost to another team. I can't remember the name. The Nats only scored one point when we left. But that point was a home run! And man, that was an awesome hit! They lost 5-1. That sux.

I don't have pictures yet, I am hoping to get them soon.

The Dance

The dance was AWESOME.
Two friends and I all went around asking boys to dance. One said, "NOOOOO!" and ran away :) Another came up to us and said, "I love you" and when we asked him to dance he said, "YOU SUCK!" :) Sometimes boys are so crazy.

My mom came over later and watched me dance... I felt awkward.

Back to school dance!

Tonight there is going to be a back to school dance!
I am so anxious! I don't know what to wear, how I'm going to dance, who will ask me to dance (if any), how I'm going to do my hair, if my friends will be there (and crush),
what color to do my nails, etc.

I am going to start school on Tuesday! I saw the school already and I have met some people. Today I am going to take a test to see how well my math is. I can't wait!

SAN DIEGO ZOO wierd animal.

We spent eight hours at the San Diego Zoo, and the only people who did not have an AWESOME time were Ike and Megan, which is why we only stayed for only eight hours :( .
There were so many cool animals and shows! I especially liked the Pandas, and there was this really cool turtle. You might not believe it, but at the San Diego Zoo, there is a turtle-ish Dinosaur-ish species that lived before the Dinosaurs, and it is still here today! The turtle even looked like a Dinosaur itself. The shell was bumpy and the body looked like... a Triseratopus's head, but without the horns. It was about as big as a microwave, but a bit bigger. It's nose looked like an tiny pig's nose and the eyes looked like snake eyes. The thing gave me chills! I wish I had a picture for proof but my dad wouldn't take one because it would be too hard :(

Help our earth!!

A while ago I took this picture, do you want this to go away??
Tigers, penguins and more are being killed right now! We need tigers, we NEED them, and here's why:

-We kill all the Tigers and they become extinct.
-The deer celebrate and eat plants.
-Then they eat more plants.
-and more plants.
-and more plants.
-and more plants.
-until there are no plants left!
-If the tigers keep eating them, then we will have the right amount of deer and plants.
-If not, the deer will have no more plants to eat and become extinct, too! (I found this in the ZOOBOOKS magazine.)

If we hurt the Tigers we just hurt ourselves.

-African Wolf
-Polar bear

We have to stand up to GLOBAL WARMING!
We can't just go on like this! What will happen to the animals, and if something happens to the animals, something happens to us.
What will earth be in 100 years?? Probably garbage and extinction.
If you've ever seen the movie, WALL-E, earth will probably look like that.


Help the earth, you won't regret it.

What I think of movies

I almost made it all the way through KONGFU PANDA when I thought it was crazy. There is no story involved in it, the characters are confusing (a panda being a duck's son???)and the characters sound very American (they are in China). I would NOT recommend this movie. It is extremely boring. It's a very disappointing movie, and DreamWorks has made better movies than this. I also don't like FLUSHED AWAY, again, there is no story in it.

I like THE BEE MOVIE, also by DreamWorks, because it actually DOES have a story. As well as Shrek, Shrek 2, and Shrek 3.

I am going away... bye bye Laos.

Today I am leaving to go to America. That means I won't be posting in a while. Sorry......

SUMMER VACATION STARTS TODAY

My best friend that is in my grade, Kiana, has left to Sri Lanka. Kiana, this is a dedication to you.

My other best friend is in a grade younger than me. We are the same age, though.

Anyway, our best friend is leaving Lao, after living in Lao for at least 4 years, she is now gone.


Kiana always made Katy and I laugh, even when we were completely down. She knew when we were sad. If we got into a fight, it would be for V.I.S idol. That was really it and the next day we were best friends again. Kiana listens when we talk to her. We (meaning Kiana, Katy and me) always talked about new things, we mostly talked about Christianity, or, in Katy's case, Catholicism, still, same same. Some times we talked about the time we were going to move, and some times we talked non stop about nothing.

I am going to miss trying to convince that we were once chimps and that the loch ness monster is real to Kiana, and she might miss making me believe in Bigfoot. During Christmas, we sang. Yes, we sang. We sang Jingle bells so that the whole class can hear us. We were having so much fun that we did not have time to be embarrassed. 'The boys' (we call the boys 'The boys') told us to shut up. We kept on singing.

Another bad yet fun habit of ours was teasing boys. Not that we liked them, (not in THAT way...) but it was just fun. Kiana would make a farting noise in front in one of the boys and say, "Gosh, (boy's name) you don't have to fart!" It craked me up every time. Kiana, I will also miss that face.

When the time came for Katy to say Good-bye, Katy cried and gave Kiana a huge hug. i did not cry because I was going to be with her for about 40 more minutes. Katy and I took the bus, but I was going home with my mom. Kiana, 'Za-Za' (who had nothing to do with this, and za-za is just a nickname) and I all chased the bus until we came to the end of the road. Kiana was sad, yes, but never leave crying. Kiana got me rolling on the floor in five minutes. Here's what happened:

-We were going around the school saying bye to all the teachers. When we arrived at the art room to say good bye to the art teacher, we found a barbie leg, NO LIE! After our good bye's, the art teacher said we could keep it. It was a peach color leg with a yellow shoe. We went to the nurse to say good-bye and she put some band-aids on the leg. She then brought it with all around. She showed it to anyone who we said good bye to. One of our classmates screamed at it. Others thought it was funny. So we went to the classroom to eat some left-over food from our end of the year party. I drank orange juice. Kiana got her new dirty barbie leg and she made it stomp around in some of the chips. It was hilarious!

But, it is not all fun and games. It was now my turn to say good-bye. It was only supposed to take 5 mintues, but it took us 20. We kept hugging each other and refusing to let go. When we did let go, I was sad. We we hugged, I was happy just to be around her. I could not and still can't imagine life without Katy or Kiana. Kiana was covered in glitter so she got glitter all around me. I did not mind. I didn't mind anything at that time. I just minded Kiana. We had our final hug, and then I had to get in the Tuk-Tuk (taxi in lao, say it like duke duke). Kiana also followed the Tuk-Tuk, because It is like an open box. But my mom saw her and told her to stop. The Tuk-Tuk drove away. I could see Kiana in the distance, but when we turned, I immediately started to cry.

Kiana, don't forget this, and nor you Katy. We all look at the same moon and stars.

I pray, Kiana, that you are safe and that you have fun in Sri Lanka.

My Big Move (away from Laos but going to my family)

I am very exited to see my family. I will first go see Aunt Jeni, Uncle Jered and Lucy. I am pretty sure that while we are there we will go to a zoo. Then we will go to L.A for Disneyland I will also see Chase, Ashley, and other family members. On our way to Georgia, we will visit THE GRAND CANYON! In Georgia I will see my gandparents. Then I will be on my way to Virginia.


Of course, the move will be fun, but i am also sad to leave.

My Vang Vieng study trip.

Man, it was amazing! Well, here it is. (This might be a long story!)


First, we packed and got on the bus. The bus was BO-O-RING! But once we got to the resort, my room mate and I checked out our room. It, well, let's say that there were better rooms than the one we got. (Partly because my room mate was messy and stunk the room with soap and rice krispes together in a bottle!) We were not too jealous. After we got used to our rooms, we put on our hiking shoes and clothes to be walking in the forest. It wasn't much of a forest, it was mostly cow poo. Although I saw some really cool caterpillars! We were walking on this walk for about 20 minutes, when we came to the "stairs" that lead up to the cave. (where we were heading to in the first place, we had to walk through the forest to get there.) The rocks were REALLY slippery and steep (P.S, the "stairs") and by the time the GIRLS got up there, we were huffing and out of breath. Why are the boys always so fast at things?

My Study Trip to Vang Vieng, Laos.

No, I haven't gone yet. But I have butterflies of all the fun I will have! I will stay in Vang Vieng with my class, and sleep in a room with my one of my best friends. We will walk in a forest, a cave, possibly canoe, and the bus ride takes THREE HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know how much I am concerned about the environment, so I am very exited for walking in the cave and forest. I also think this will be a great time for me and my best friend (in grade 5, my other is in grade 4)to hang out before we leave.

I promise to tell you all about it on Friday, when I come back. We will stay for three days and two nights.

Blue Belt

Today I just got my blue belt! It was very easy, except for the part when I had to do 45 sit-ups. I can kick REALLY high now! I can kick as high as a 7th grader who was blue belt before me...

That Dam and That Luang

I took a field trip to That Dam (Taht Dahm) and That Luang. That Dam is a stupa, and That Luang is kind of like a temple. We went there to study the Lao monuments. That Luang had to be built more than 3 TIMES! That Dam used to be an ancient temple, but it is now a stupa. The meaning, "That Dam" means, "Black stupa". I am not sure what "That Luang" means.

Pii mai and Higlights

For the first time in my life I got highlights, and I love them! I got the color Redish-Pinkish, and also represents Pii mai, the Lao New Year.

Pii Mai is when you pour water on ANYONE that you see! At the U.S Embassy field, we had a Pii Mai party (even though it was 2 days early). It was tons of fun! I really enjoy Pii Mai.

For the Pii Mai break, school is off for a week. My family and I are going to Udon(Thailand), Khon Kaen (also in Thailand), and then back to Udon.

I made a mistake

It's just too sad. I cannot believe it. I made a mistake in taekwondo and now I am on to yellow belt again!

This is why I am so concerned about the environment:

Think about this: You are an endangered animal of the rainforest. Then this big machine comes and cuts down your home, how would that feel? And what if you were a penguin? And all your ice melted and your family died! That would be too sad.

Bo-Bo

Bo-Bo was drawn to save the environment, but he doesn't do much :) :)
He is the only one, and I draw him so much that my friend adores him! You can see his picture in Black and White at the right. Now words from Bo-Bo:

"Blah Blah Blah forget what Madison said, but listen to the environment part. I would love to force everyone to care, but I can't really do that. I learn a lot about the environment and Global Warming, so I can save it. Anyway, bye bye!"

I get a subscription called 'Ranger Rick.' I am going to get my Ranger Rick sometime this month, and because of that, the company gave me RANGER RICK BINOCULARS!!!!

Tae kwon do

I do Tae Kwon Do and I love it! I just got my green belt yesterday...

One of my favorite desserts!

This is simple but wonderfully tasty snack. My favorite fruits are bananas and strawberries, so I love to dip them in a bowl of sweet whipped cream! This could be a dessert but it could also be a snack. So take a fork and DIG IN!!

Things about me that are pretty weird.

I hate rock, and especially hard rock. My favorite is Jazz and Orchestra. I play in a band in my school that goes up to the grade twelve. ( And I'm in fifth!) I play the baritone, which is a low instrument. It's my favorite instrument, as you can see in the picture. Music's my life!

I have a VERY BIG concern of the environment, and I even asked for some trees planted for Christmas. You can plant trees from the same site at Arbor day. (Check my links) I also put up 100 tips on saving the environment just below! Ranger rick (see links) is also another Christmas gift. I get it every month (it's actually a subscription) and it's full of interesting stuff! I saw in the magazine that this french guy makes amazing art out of unwanted metal, example, a frog. The money from Ranger Rick goes to the environment.

I don't have a collection of hats or snow globes, I have a collection of stamps! Stamps are not only pretty and interesting, they can be important too. Not just to deliver mail, but from the stamps of different countries, you can learn a lot of the culture there. I must have at least a hundred stamps in my collection.

When you go to the movies, you want to see the new color movie and stuff like that, but I like black and white movies better. I've seen It happened one night and I loved it! It's about a women who ran away ( I came in the middle, so I might be wrong) from her finance and a reporter (who was a man) decided to take her back, and they have an adventure! If my thoughts aren't right, see the movie and check! I really like black and white movies.

Oh ya, I love littlemissmatched (this is not really weird) Littlemissmatched, (LMM for short) has miss-matched socks, bedding, you name it! Check it out some time. (But beware boys, not many things for you there! Only socks, or maybe a little more.)

I love babies. Show me a single baby and I can't keep my eyes of of him/her! I don't care how much they cry and sleep and make a stinky, they sure are playful and cute!
